We CHEM..... We Saw..... We Conquered.....

Chemical engineering:

The branch of engineering which deals with the application of principles of the physical science, together with the principles of economics and human relations, to the fields that pertains directly to processes and process equipments in which matter is treated to effect the change in state, energy content and composition.

Importance of chemical engineering:

Chemical engineering and industry is integral part of developing or developed nation. In fact, the industrial development of any country is measured in terms of development of chemical industry (i.e. the consumption of sulfuric acid). Chemical engineering has many sub branches viz. bio-chemical, nuclear, metallurgical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical engineering.

Chemical engineering finds its application in almost every field.

Undergraduate objective of chemical engineering

  Knowledge speaks louder than words.

The objective of the chemical engineering program is to produce graduates who demonstrate the ability to apply mathematics, engineering principles, computer skills, and natural sciences to chemical engineering practice. It will maintain an environment that enables students to identify and pursue their personal and professional goals within an innovative educational program that is rigorous and challenging as well as flexible and supportive. It’s our goal to prepare students for either graduate study, or research and development work in industry. We accomplish this by providing a broad and rigorous training in the fundamentals of chemical engineering while maintaining a balance between classroom lectures and laboratory experience.

It’s the attitude not aptitude that puts you to high altitude

Association of Chemical Engineering Students (ACE) will help students to acquire good communication skills, leadership character, and good personality. The ACE teaches students to work effectively in a team environment, communicate well, and be aware of the necessity for personal and professional growth. The program also strives to develop in each student self-reliance, creativity, professional ethics, an appreciation of the societal impact of chemical engineering, environmental, economic and the importance of continuing intellectual growth.
