      Finolex Academy Library is a ocean of knowledge by its qualitative, need based, up to date collection to meet the information needs of the users.

       Library consists of around 13,957 volumes of books with more than 3,315 titles. The Library has subscribed to over 520 e-journals under AICTE - INDEST CONSORTIUM. All major national and International journals of mathematics, engineering are available.

      The College Library is the breeding ground for tomorrow’s intellectuals.

Timings
The library is kept open throughout the year, except on Sundays and public holidays. It is also kept open on Sundays and public holidays before and during the examinations. The usual timings of the library are 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. all working days.

Membership
Every bonafide student of the College is entitled to become a member of the library. Two library Readers Ticket is issued to every student with her/his photograph firmly attached and the stamp of the Director affixed thereon.

Seating Arrangement
The reading Room and Stack Room area are placed adjacent to each other so as to facilitate the users, the use of library material.

Arrangement of Books
Books in the Library have been classified according to the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme. There is a partial open access to the books on the shelves. A detailed plan showing the arrangement to books on the shelves in the catalogue marked Subject Index.

Catalogues
The Library has provided card catalogue which can easily be referred to by the readers. A guide to catalogue is provided to the readers at the time of Library Orientation Programme by the Librarian

Recent Arrivals
Latest additions to the Library are listed monthly in the loose paper file kept at the reference counter.

Issue of Books
Reader are requested to consult the catalogue, note the particulars of the books they wish to borrow in the claim slip that is kept near the catalogue and hand it over at the counter. The issue of the Home Reading materials begins at 9.00 a.m. till time that the library closes down. Number of text books and help books for various examinations are kept aside for internal reading in Reference Section. Books from the References sections must not be taken out of the Library under any circumstances and should be returned on the same day before 5.00 p.m.

Reference Works
The Library possesses a good number of reference works such as encyclopedias, handbooks, directories, annuals etc. These works make very useful reference material for students. A borrower can refer to them in the Library premises.
